FOUR CORNERS

From the Archive: Women’s Film Workshops at Four Corners
Founded in 1973 Four Corners was one of the first independent film workshops in the
UK. From a squatted grocery shop on Roman Road the collective created experimental
films and developed a series of workshops for local women. Shown here are some
posters and prints from just a few of these radical workshops where women used film
to explore their identities, dismantle prejudices and gain control over the
representation of their own lives.
