Moments of Bliss
For me, the camera is an opportunity to connect and explore my relationships with other people. While I enjoy taking portraits of others, I dislike turning the camera on myself. These self portraits wrapped in a Khanga/Leso is my way of reconnecting with my Kenyan roots whilst taking a few minutes to myself before the duties of motherhood and adulting beckoned me.
